Mom-to-be Gigi Hadid has always blessed our Instagram feed with pictures from her glamorous life. Recently, the model decided to take a break from her glam shots, and give us something to gush about instead–by sharing beautiful pictures from a maternity shoot she did in July.
Gigi posted black and white photos showing off her baby bump, looking like an ethereal goddess in two stunning outfits. Styled by Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, she wore a flowy white sheath gown in some pictures, and went with a short, sexy chiffon dress in others. She was glammed up in minimal but striking makeup by Erin Parsons.
She captioned one of the pictures ‘‘growin an angel’ :)’ and in another, thanked everyone who was a part of her photoshoot. She wrote, “cherishing this time. appreciate all the love & well wishes ♡ will never forget creating these special images with my friends [fashion photographers] Luigi and Iango, [Garage fashion director] Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, [and Maybelline Global Makeup Artist] Erin Parsons. thank you. I love you!”
Since the photographs were taken by Luigi and Iango, fashion directors of the Garage Magazine, many are speculating that they’ll be on the cover of the magazine soon. Well, we’ll find out soon.

She also posted a BTS video of her sitting on the floor, showing off her baby bump.
This is Gigi’s first child with on and off and now on-again boyfriend Zayn Mallik. The news about their pregnancy broke out a few months ago, and Hadid later confirmed it herself when she appeared on the Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. She said, “Obviously, you know, we wish we could’ve announced it on our own terms, but we’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support”
Gigi also doesn’t shy away from expressing her love for Zayn Mallik who is the father of the child. She recently posted a picture with him and captioned it ‘Baby Daddy’
Hadid spoke for the first time on her Instagram Live about her pregnancy in July and talked about why she held off sharing the photos in the first place. “Obviously I think a lot of people are confused why I’m not sharing more but like, I’m pregnant through a pandemic, like obviously my pregnancy is not the most important thing going on in the world,” Hadid said. “That’s a reason that I felt that it’s not really something that I need to share apart from with my family and friends”
She added that she wanted to utilise her social media presence for more important causes like the Black Lives Matter Campaign and the rising deaths due to COVID19.
Gidi is due in September and we already know the baby is going to be a heartbreaker!
