Remember the Punjabi rapper from the UK who grooved with Akshay Kumar in Patiala House? The Ek Glassy singer, Taran Kaur Dhillon aka Hard Kaur, has been in the news because of her Instagram posts. Two days ago, the singer shared a series of posts criticising Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Chief Mohan Bhagwat on Instagram.
In retaliation, a complaint has been filed by a local lawyer Shashank Shekhar who is an RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) volunteer, for defaming Yogi Adityanath and Mohan Bhagwat, stating that he was deeply hurt by the posts she shared on Instagram. She has been booked under Indian Penal Code sections 124A (sedition, attempt to excite disaffection or hatred), 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on ground of religion), 500 (defamation) and 505 (intent to incite), and section 66 of the IT Act (for sending offensive messages).

She also shared this picture of RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat with the caption, “RSS IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL TERRORIST ATTACKS IN INDIA INCLUDING 26/11, PULWAMA ATTACK. THE FACE OF ALL PROBLEMS IN INDIA. Hard Kaur has shared several screenshots of the abusive threats she has received via Instagram comments and direct messages on the app. The rapper is yet to make a statement about the complaint that has been filed against her.
