Gone are the days when the bride would act coy and shy on her D-day. Now, desi dulhans are owning their weddings and having a gala time while they’re at it. We’ve seen brides doing a flashmob with their besties on their D-day and we’ve also cheered along ones entered the mandap on bikes and cars of their own.
Now, meet Samiksha, a bride who owned all this and more on her wedding day. She walked in for the ceremony, actually danced in with her bridesmaids in her own baraat and it looked like a whole lot of fun.
Getting married to the love of her life, Utsav, she looked absolutely gorgeous in a red lehenga. The outfit was a traditional, all-red lehenga-choli but with two dupattas- one red and one blue which added a pop of colour.
Utsav and Samiksha’s D-day was filmed by the ace wedding photographer and filmer, Shutterdown Photography, and they’ve done a fabulous job. Even the vocals provided by singer duo Hari and Sukhmani our making our hearts melt. Check out the video here:
Not just this, Samiksha even took to the gym at her wedding, in her wedding lehenga. Yup. She was seen lifting dumbbells, walking on the treadmill and doing back exercises in her whole dulhan getup with jewelry and everything.
I can’t even do this much in my gym outfit. 😐
