Even since we entered 2020, I have been eagerly waiting to know more about Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan’s much-much anticipated Aaj Kal. Helmed by Imtiaz Ali, who also directed Love Aaj Kal (2009), the movie’s release date was announced to be February 14, 2020. Now, being a Valentine’s Day release, I was hoping for at least the film’s poster to drop in or #Sartik’s first look to come out, if not the trailer. Finally, after making me wait for 15 days, looks like Bhagwan ne meri sunn li!
The moment we have all been waiting for is here! Imtiaz, Sara and Kartik, all of them just shared the poster of Aaj Kal Love Aaj Kal (yes, the sequel has the same time title) moments ago! Check it out.
How exciting is this! In the poster, Sara (playing Zoe) and Kartik (playing Veer) can be seen lying in a warm embrace with the 24-year-old actress. The rumoured couple look so promising in the first official look of the film, don’t they?
We also see the years 2020 and 1990 scribbled on the poster confirming that the sequel, too, is going to have a love story from two different eras, much like the first one. Looks like, the makers are going for a make-it-relatable-for-the-90s-kid theme here. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better…
