We’ve been waiting for this good news for a while and it’s finally here. The happy and oh-so-gorgeous couple are finally getting hitched! If you’re still confused, we’re talking about the yummy Farhan Akhtar and the beautiful Shibani Dandekar. The couple has been all over our Insta-feeds, expressing their love for each other with cute captions and we’ve fallen in love with their chemistry and easy going vibe!
The couple who has been dating for over a year, even though they made it official recently, maybe getting married in April or May this year. On a recent episode of Tape Cast Season 2 with Bhumi Pednekar, she played a ‘Do Not Play’ tape that had an interesting question from Shibani. She asked “When are we getting married?” and Farhan couldn’t stop blushing at his beloved’s question. His answer though was equally adorbs. With a playful smile, he responded, “I don’t know it may be April or maybe ‘May’.” We can’t help but wonder which month is it – April or May. But don’t worry, we’ll be on a lookout and give you constant updates.
He also spoke very fondly of Shibani and said some really really sweet things about their relationship. Here’s what he said: “She is an amazing woman. It’s been very special, the last year…You know we’ve been getting to know each other and I couldn’t be happier about it. But with the social media world again, we are constantly being told about the things we should be doing (laughs). But ya, I have never felt so comfortable to share my personal stuff but I don’t know, I just feel like somehow with celebrating all this, it just feels very natural to me. I mean, like obviously you don’t want to go like crazy and people are like please ‘bass kar’ but ya, it feels nice to share that with people because we are always living so sheltered and you are always so protected and your guards are constantly up; especially when it comes to people like your partner in your life and you don’t want people to know. I just felt like it’s rather nicer to share it with people and include them in the joy and let them feel happy, hopefully.” Adorable, right?
The couple also recently shared a picture of their hands with rings and we couldn’t help but wonder if they secretly got engaged. Looks like we were right!
