Shilpa Shinde rose to fame with her stint as Angoori in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain. She had a major tiff with the makers of the show and quit. Fans loved her performance so much that they wanted to see more of her. Their wishes came true when she participated in Bigg Boss Season 11. From her infamous fights with fellow contestant Hina Khan to the rumours about her getting married to fellow housemate Vikas Gupta, Shilpa emerged as the most controversial and loved contestant on the show. She went on to win the show, defeating archenemy Hina.

Shilpa has a huge fan following, but they were heartbroken when she announced that she has quit Twitter.
Yes, Shilpa deleted her account. On being asked why, she said, “Social media is a brutal place. My fans are extremely possessive about me. So when there are negative comments about me or people are trolling me, my feed is flooded by fan messages. See, I’m least bothered by haters, but my fans go reckless about it.”
What’s even more heartbreaking for her fans is that she has decided to never come back. She said, “Social media is for socialising, for expressing views, but people want to know everything. I feel social media is not for me.”
But there’s some good news for fans, too. Reportedly, Shilpa is set to make her comeback on TV with Sreesanth. Yes, you heard that right. The two will be coming together on the show Kanpur Wale Khuranas. Former Bigg Boss contestant Sapna Chaudhary will also be joining them. It’s a comedy show starring Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar, Aparshakti Khurana and other comedians.

Shilpa and Sreesanth are good friends and she’s supported him through Bigg Boss season 12. The two met up at Sreesanth’s place recently, and Shilpa had a gala time with Sree’s wife and kids.
Remember when she took to Twitter to express how upset she was to see Sreesanth lose Bigg Boss Season 12 to Dipika Kakar? Shilpa wrote, “He is not made for this show BUT He made the show… He is an international player… just wait and watch .. Zindgi ki yahi reet hai haar ke baad hi jeet hai.“
She also dissed Dipika by tweeting, “Aajkal sabhi product banavati aate hain.. yaha tak makkhi maarne ke bhi.. Suna hain show ke makers ne bhi milavati product ko promote karna shuru kar diya.. Makkhi pura season bhunbhunati rahi aakhir main makkhi jeet gayi. Isliye trophy bhi break ho gai!!!”
