Kasautii Zindagii Kay has become a controversial vortex both onscreen as well as offscreen. From speculations about who would play Mr Bajaj to a possible rift between the lead actresses Hina Khan and Erica Fernandes, the serial has churned out rumours one after another. The show has been ranking high in the TRP charts and its viewers are hooked to it because of the unexpected twists and turns in the plot.

As we recover from the news of Komolika AKA Hina Khan leaving the show, we are hit by another twist in the show’s plot. According to the grapevine, Kasautii Zindagii Kay‘s female protagonist Prerna, played by Erica Fernandes, might soon bid adieu to the show as well. Erica’s exit track is being worked upon by the writers, but the actress has chosen not to comment on the rumours.
The show is doing really well in terms of TRP, so the fans are speculating that the buzz around Erica’s exit might just be a publicity gimmick. As per the leaked updates, Komolika will stage her own death and blame Anurag for it. Later, Erica will get her out from the show.
An undisclosed source told a leading daily, “Since Hina will be making an exit from the show, the makers wanted to spice up the drama a bit more by creating hysteria around another possible exit. As per the track, Komolika will be pushing Prerna off the cliff during her last track which will lead to Prerna going missing. With this piece of news, the makers wanted to rattle the viewers a bit before Prerna aka Erica makes a dazzling comeback with Bajaj aka Karan Singh Grover.” A video showing Komolika choking Prerna and throwing her down a balcony has gone viral on Instagram.

If these reports are to be believed, Erica will make a comeback in an all-new avatar and we are quite excited to see her share the screen with the new Mr Bajaj. While some sources revealed that Karan Wahi has been roped in to play the new love interest in Prerna’s life, latest reports suggest that Karan Singh Grover (of Dill Mill Gayye fame) will be playing this iconic character. Apparently, Karan’s entry sequence will be shot amid the stunning Swiss Alps. We are sure that the new Mr Bajaj’s entry will be as extra as Komolika’s.
