Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora are one of the most talked about couples in Bollywood right now. Even though the two have maintained stoic silence about their relationship but their public appearances together have confirmed plenty.
We’ve all been looking for an answer for the question, ‘when are they getting hitched?‘. But they’ve rubbish all rumours and remain tight-lipped about their big day.
Malaika has often denied all news related to her ‘upcoming’ wedding and Arjun has ignored the matter altogether. But the two have slowly opened up about them seeing someone special in their lives.
Talking about his personal life Arjun said, “What the world is seeing, they are seeing. However, I have no desire to justify my personal life beyond a point. It is important to have good people around me and I feel fortunate that I have such individuals in my life.”
About a month ago, Arjun declared that if he would ever get married, everyone would know. He said, “The subject of my wedding is not something that I would like to talk about. Frankly, if I was tying the knot, people would know about it. Today, nothing stays or needs to be hidden beyond a point.” He further clarified, “Speculation is harmless. But I admit, I don’t like to respond to it all the time. Also, it gets tiring for the people involved to constantly react. There has been so much gossip on this subject that even the people who earlier tended to believe it are no longer doing so. I don’t have anything against anyone.”
Recently, in an interview with a leading daily, Arjun revealed his wedding plans with Malaika. On being asked if he is planning to tie the knot soon, Arjun said, “I have no qualms about saying that I am not getting married. People go bald after getting married.”
He further revealed that there would be nothing secretive about this wedding. The 2 States actor said, “Marriage is definitely not going to happen now. I’m happy on both, the personal and professional fronts. I have always been open. Be assured that I will not shock you all; if there is something to be spoken about, I will inform you all and make you a part of it.”
Recently, Malaika attended the special screening of Arjun’s upcoming film India’s Most Wanted. The press was excited to know Malaika’s reaction to the film. When the Namaste England actor was asked about Malaika’s reaction to his performance at a press meet in Delhi, he dodged the question and said, “Main aapko alag se bata dunga.” (I will tell you separately.)
