Diana Penty’s ‘Messy Hair’ Is Literal #HairGoals & Her Famous Friends Agree With Us

Have you ever tried to own the messiness of your hair (and life) on Instagram, because you know that your friends will hype you up so much that you’d think you’re a movie star? Well, we’ve all been there and we all love that kind of attention. Don't we?

But when an actual movie star Diana Penty did this and shared her 'messy hair' look on Instagram, she was trolled by her famous (read celebrity) friends, specifically, actors Aditi Rao Hydari, Dia Mirza, and Sonu Sood, and filmmaker Punit Malhotra. Now, before you start judging them, you should look at the photo Diana posted.

Maybe, just maybe, Diana was being ironic. But, we have to say, this is such an effortlessly glam picture! Even though she writes 'messy hair, don't care' in her caption, her makeup is perfect and just look at those locks! Her friends do agree with us. Take a look at what Aditi, Dia and Sonu said:

Diana isn’t exactly new to being trolled, as she’s been mocked relentlessly for her surname in the past, but she’s always responded to it in a dignified manner. This one time we made a meme on her, she took it super sportingly and had a laugh along with us, which is also what she’s doing in the comments for this post! And we’re sure that she’d prefer this kind of friendly banter over all the random meanness she and other celebrities encounter online every single day.

Apart from joking with friends on Instagram, Diana has been serving us some next-level fashion inspiration these days. She also walked the ramp for designer Gaurav Gupta at the recently-concluded India Couture Week. She was last seen on the silver screen grooving to Badshah’s remix of Sheher Ki Ladki, where she shook a leg with the OG rockstars Raveena Tandon and Suniel Shetty. She also clearly loves using Instagram, as you can see from the replies she left to her friends’ comments.

The bottom line is, if this kind of gentle ribbing between friends can replace all forms of trolling that people are subjected to online, the world would become a much, much better place. Don't you agree?
