Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are undoubtedly the most talked about couple in B-Town. The two have been giving major #CoupleGoals to everyone with their award function PDAs and by attending most Bollywood parties hand-in-hand. From being a constant support while Ranbir’s father Rishi Kapoor fought cancer in New York, to attending Manish Malhotra’s mother’s funeral with his mother, Neetu Kapoor, Alia has stood by Ranbir and his family like a rock. But all said and done, there remains a burning question: When will Ranbir and Alia tie the knot? Well, Ranbir’s ex-girlfriend who is now a close friend of the couple, Deepika Padukone, might have given us an answer to that one.
Yes, you read that right. In a recent interview, Deepika said that Alia will soon tie the knot, and we, of course, know with who. The big revelation took place in a discussion on the 100 greatest performances of the decade with Film Companion. Alia and Deepika were joined by actors Manoj Bajpayee, Vijay Deverakonda, Ayushmann Khurrana, Ranveer Singh and a few others. During the conversation, Vijay spoke about how he had a massive crush on Deepika and Alia. The Arjun Reddy actor said, “Without shame, a lot of people on this table have been massive crushes like I’ve been in love with some of them like these two (pointing to Deepika and Alia). She (Deepika) got married but…” Deepika interrupted and said, “She (Alia) is getting married.” Vijay continued, “She (Alia) is getting married.”
Alia, who looked extremely surprised, interrupted and asked Deepika, “Excuse me, why have you made this declaration?” Deepika, then issued a clarification, saying “Guys, I made that up. I just wanted to see his (Vijay’s) reaction.” Well, we aren’t really sure if this is what it was, Deepika!

Well, all we want to say is that Alia just got a taste of her own medicine! Remember that episode of Koffee With Karan which aired right around the time when Deepika and Ranveer announced their wedding? Show host Karan Johar had asked Alia and Deepika who would get married first. Alia was quite prompt to point at Deepika.
