All Deepika Padukone needs to do to go viral is flash her dimpled smile and the whole internet stands still. But last night, that happened for a different reason. The 33-year-old actress had two completely different events to attend back-to-back and the way she nailed both her looks is worth everyone's attention.
The first event was the Lokmat Maharashtrian Of The Year Awards 2019 to which she wore an elegant white saree. Later that night, for another award function, she chose black to channel her inner Goddess. Both her looks were so in tune with the respective events and were, amazingly, barely two hours apart. Dear Deepika, how you do this, pray tell?
Deepika wore a gorgeous white saree with an ivory white blouse by Rahul Misra. BTW, have you seen a more beautiful scalloped hemline on a saree? Didn't think so! Both the saree as well as the blouse were embroidered in white making the whole ensemble look oh-so-radiant.
For her next event, it looks like DP was in the mood for brown as is evident from her matte brown lips and the similar hues in her eye makeup. Her hair was pulled back into a sleek, neatly gelled ponytail. Read on to find out how that worked out for her for the next look.
Starting with her hair, she simply opened her bun into a low ponytail et voilà! Look changed effortlessly and without any touch-ups or redos. Did you notice her smokey eye makeup? Here's how you can add this DP-approved twist to your eyes using your good 'ol kajal.
From saree straight to not sorry, Deepika dressed in a stylishly low-cut, custom black gown by Amit Aggarwal for the second event. With a slight mermaid hemline in a matte finish delicately attached around the waist to a glossy accordion-pleated blouse, Deepika proved black is back yet again.
The outfit had a stylised back with the blouse ending in a train behind her. How sexy! She accessorized with blingy shoulder dusters, an assortment of minimal rings, and pulled it together with a dewy, nude makeup look.
