Pallo Latke: Did Deepika Padukone Commit The Biggest Saree Sin With Her Trailing Pallu?

Deepika Padukone has wowed us so many times that it's getting hard to keep a track now. And it's not only her fashion choices that we adore so much. She has also made us weep in the theatre with her stellar performances as Leela, Mastani, Piku, and has also warmed our hearts with her work on mental health awareness in the country.

This time, Deepika wore a floral saree by her favourite designer. No points for guessing who are we talking about. Sabyasachi, of course. She looked drop-dead-gorgeous in the red saree, but there's one thing that's bothering us (more on this later).

But, first, take a look at this stunning saree!

The saree, we have to say, can be the perfect pick for your bestie's beach wedding. DP paired it with statement kundan earrings with two massive stones and tied her hair in a bun. That gajra with red and pink flowers in her hair added a gorgeous desi touch to her look. Brides-to-be, take notes if you plan to wear red lehengas on their D-day.

As for her makeup, DP went for a bronze look and was glittering on the red carpet with a gold hue to her skin. She chose to do thick eyebrows, which is her statement look, a light smoky lashline with black and brown hues. Wow! Florian Hurel, you've done a fabulous job.

While we love DP's saree, we found this one video where her pallu is latkoing a little too much. It's a Sabya saree and it's trailing on the road. WHAT? I would dare not do that. Take a look at the video here:

Well, that gave us a mild shock. But, that saree is gorgeous nevertheless.

Meanwhile, on the work front, DP is currently promoting her film Chhapaak, which all set to hit the big screen on January 10. She is playing the role of Laxmi Agarwal, an acid attack survivor who dedicated her life to stop acid sales in India. The film has been directed by Meghna Gulzar and also stars Vikrant Massey. Looking at the trailer, we can't wait to watch the film.

All the best for the movie, DP. Pretty sure you're going to nail this role too.
