Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are head over heels in love with each other. The duo definitely just can’t get enough of each other. Well, their social media handles are proof enough. You will always see them adoringly holding hands, tagging each other in cute memes or posting love emojis on each other’s pictures. This power couple of Bollywood never shies away from some conspicuous PDA. However, it seems they are still trying to get used to the married life even after almost a year. At least Deepika for sure!
Deepika recently launched her first lecture series on mental health for her Live Love Laugh Foundation. Now, a snippet from the event is going viral on social media that shows how Deepika, for a moment, almost forgot that she is married to Ranveer Singh and had to be reminded.

Recounting the many roles she plays in her life, Deepika said, “I’m a daughter, I’m a sister, I’m an actor..,” and then took a pause for a while to think of more roles. This was when the panel moderator quipped in “and a wife”. On being reminded, Deepika laughingly added, “I am a wife. Oh god! I forgot.” This minor lapse of memory made the audience burst into laughter.

Well, we wonder how she forgot being a wife, ‘coz the actress never forgets to tag her hubby dearest in funny memes. In one of the memes she recently shared, she revealed how husband Ranveer comes to her rescue when she cannot finish a meal.

On the work front, Deepika will be seen next in Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak that is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal. She will also be seen in sports drama ‘83 opposite husband Ranveer Singh. ‘83 is based on India’s iconic win in the 1983 Cricket World Cup. While Ranveer Singh will be playing the role of Kapil Dev, Deepika will star as his wife Roma Dev.
