We Can’t Stop Talking About Deepika’s Latest Red Carpet Look

There’s a new saree-style in B-town and we are loving this fine twist in desi look. Deepika Padukone recently wore her Indian outfit with a studded belt for an event and nailed it. Shaleena Nathani styled her embellished black bikini blouse and fishtail skirt with a solid-black dupatta and statement drop earrings. Deepika’s messy ponytail styled by Yianni Tsapator and smokey eye make-up by Sandhya Shekar perfectly complemented her ensemble.

The perk-of-the-look is that you can pair your belt with all your desi outfits -- a saree, a lehenga and even if it’s just a top and skirt with dupatta. A belt is adding up both, panache and ease to the look. Deepika isn’t the first one to try the trick though. Shilpa Shetty has been adding a belt to her sarees for a while now. Aditi Rao Hydari has tried the style with a halter-neck top and skirt as well. So next time you attend a wedding, you know what you need to do. Here are a few ways you can experiment with the drape of your dupatta and belt-style though.

#PerfectPoise: Stud belt with side shoulder dupatta!
