One of telly world’s most adorable couples, Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij, took us by surprise when they announced they’re expecting their first baby about a month ago. The duo got married in a secret ceremony on November 11, back in 2011. In 2014, the couple renewed their wedding vows in Las Vegas, and now, seven years into the marriage, they are expecting their first baby.
To gear up for the next big chapter, daddy-to-be Jay is taking lullaby classes. Isn’t that the cutest thing ever? In a conversation with a leading daily, Jay revealed, “It is a fascinating feeling to be a parent all over again and it is even more thrilling because this is our first kid together. I want to help Mahi in whatever ways possible. I would want Mahi to take complete care of herself and our baby, so to help her not missing out on her sleep later in the month, I am learning lullabies and practising it daily.”
He also spoke about how hosting the children’s singing reality show, Superstar Singer will give him an opportunity to hone his skills with the help of the best singers in the business. The actor said, “It would be great if I am able to take responsibility of calming our baby in the middle of the night. I spoke to all the captains — Salman Ali, Sachin Valmiki, Nitin Kumar and Jyotica Tangri and, they came up with this idea to learn lullabies. Not confident of pulling it off, I told them it’s not possible for me to do. But they are giving me all the confidence. I told them not to force me, but they are all too excited to teach me. So, I am finally taking lullaby classes now.”

Mahhi had shared a picture on Instagram with a beautiful caption to announce her pregnancy. Mahhi had shared another picture of the two where you can see the baby bump too. She wrote, “The feeling of holding you inside me is special! But I realize how excited everyone around me is and I realize how special it is to be a woman! I can nurture, I can bring a life into this world and as much as it makes me nervous, it also makes me realize how blessed I am.#baby #love #firstlove #miracle #blessed”
