First Look Of 'The Crimes Of Grindelwald' Is Out And We Can't Keep Calm!

Disclaimer: This post contains spoilers for Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them

It has been one whole year since we saw Newt Scamander arriving in New York with a briefcase full of magical creatures, successfully charming the socks off all Potterheads around the world! I remember being on the edge of my seat and hearing a collective gasp in the movie theatre, as Scamander unmasked Percival Graves to reveal the disguised smirking face of the antagonist Gellert Grindelwald - and ever since, we've been waiting for a glimpse of what the sequel holds!

Until now.

The official handle of Fantastic Beasts sent the internet into a frenzy yesterday as they hinted at the first look of the sequel with, what the quick observation skills of seasoned Potterheads revealed, the iconic Elder Wand with a very ominous caption that read 'Wands at the ready'

Not too long after the announcement, we were finally rewarded with the poster release and picture of the cast of the sequel to Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, 'The Crimes of Grindelwald' - and I think it's safe to say that our excitement has reached peak levels and we are so not calm!

Among the new cast members, Zoe Kravitz makes an appearance as Leta Lestrange, who is engaged to Theseus Scamander - Newt Scamander’s older brother, played by Callum Turner, and Claudia Kim who plays a Maledictus, the carrier of a blood curse that is capable of ultimately transforming her into a beast.

We are definitely looking forward to our favourite characters return to the screen including Eddie Redmayne as the charming Newt Scamander, Ezra Miller as Credence, Dan Fogler as the ‘no-maj’ Jacob Kowalski, Katherine Waterston as Tina Goldstein, Alison Sudol as Queenie Goldstein and of course, the powerful dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald, played by Johnny Depp.

Ever since it was first announced that Jude Law will be portraying the character of the beloved Hogwarts professor, Albus Dumbledore, fans all over the world have patiently awaited the first look of the actor in the movie - and we couldn't be more thrilled to see him fill in those shoes with style!

As a huge Harry Potter fan, I absolutely cannot wait to see the ultimate showdown between the two most powerful wizards who ever lived (before Voldemort, of course), and fall in love with magic all over again!
