The Akash Ambani-Shloka Mehta wedding is just around the corner and we’ve been looking forward to the extended merrymaking that’ll celebrate the coming together of these two powerful families. A week ago, the wedding festivities began with a dandiya night at the Ambani’s residence Antilla in Mumbai. Now, the family and friends, along with most of Bollywood, are in St. Moritz for the pre-wedding celebrations and the pictures from the events are amazing.
The theme of the two-day celebrations is ‘Winter Wonderland’ and the set up looks nothing less than a carnival. From a giant Ferris Wheel to fireworks that lit up the Swiss skyline, the Ambani’s are making sure that their bade bete ki shaadi would be an unforgettable event for everybody present and everybody watching from around the world.
The Ambanis are also known to invite the biggest celebrities to perform at their functions. For their daughter Isha Ambani’s wedding with Anand Piramal, Beyoncé performed her hit songs at one of the pre-wedding function and you won’t believe who they roped it for Akash and Shloka’s celebrations!
Yes, it was none other than the band Coldplay, with Chris Martin singing the couple’s favourite songs. And not just Chris, even The Chainsmokers performed at the wedding. We’re sure it would have been one hell of a party with all the guests grooving to their hit numbers. Watch all the videos here!
