Chrissy Teigen Just Revealed The Beauty Treatment She Uses To Calm Pregnancy Headaches

Chrissy Teigan aka gorgeous model, chef extraordinaire, soon to be mother, Instagram star and beauty maven is one of the most beloved celebs all around the world. This is not only because of her highly relatable persona but also because she isn’t afraid to talk about the uncomfortable things that most people shy away from. From her breast shape, her sweaty armpits, injectables, and botox, nothing is off-limits.

Now, the former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model opened up about getting botox again but this time not for her wrinkles and fine lines but for the terrible migraines she’s been getting since becoming pregnant with her third child.

She recently took to Twitter and wrote, “I get really really bad pregnancy headaches. Was thrilled to be cleared to do neck muscle botox along with a crazy combo of beta-blocker shots and radio wave frequency something something doctor terms. Anyhow man it’s just so bad but I see the light finally.”

Botox is a drug made from a toxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum which works by paralysing or weakening the specified muscle or nerve group. It is injected to smooth out facial wrinkles and even treat problems like severe sweating (which by the way, Chrissy has got), chronic migraines, and some neurological disorders.

In fact, the Cravings author spoke about pregnancy headaches back in 2017 when she was pregnant with her son. She wrote, “I love being pregnant. I like it more than not being pregnant. But the headaches, my god the headaches. Someone…please help. Don’t say water. Or Tylenol. Or iron. Or magnesium. I need witchcraft.”

Last week Chrissy and her husband John Legend announced their third baby to the world through his music video of the song Wild. Looking like the perfect family, even their two munchkins Luna and Miles featured in the video.

Teigan’s tweet has created a Twitter storm with people lauding her for her honesty and women opening up about their struggles with migraines during their pregnancy. For a pregnancy noob like me, I feel like I’ve learned so much from this one tweet- I didn’t even know pregnancy headaches were a thing much less you could use botox for it. Woah! *mind blown*
