The floods in Kerala have united the country. People have extended support to the army and many NGOs have been working day and night to bring relief to the victims. As the state faces unimaginable loss, we have been hearing heart-warming stories of people coming together in the face of adversity. Bollywood celebrities have also joined hands and have made numerous appeals to raise funds for the welfare of God's Own Country.

Among many celebs, Kai Po Che actor Sushant Singh Rajput donated Rs 1 crore on behalf of a fan who approached him saying, "I don't have money but I want to donate some foods, how can I donate."

Replying to which Sushant said, "I will donate 1 crore on your name, make sure that it reaches our friends out there needing it and post it on my Instagram thanking you to make me do this."

And he actually did make the donation and posted the screenshot of it with his fans name on Instagram.

Many other celebs are also raising funds for the state that has witnessed the worst floods in 100 years. SRK's Meer foundation donated Rs 21 lakhs to the relief groups working for the flood victims. Race 3 actress Jacqueline Fernandes donated Rs 5 lakhs to the NGO Habitat for Humanity India's Kerala Flood Relief Programme. She said in a statement, "I am deeply pained to see the devastation caused by the floods in Kerala.
