I mean, we all wanted to fly off with 100 people to Italy and make saat janmon ke vaade there, didn’t we? Even though the Phillauri actor wore a blush pink lehenga for her D-day, she probably didn’t feel complete without wearing red for at least one of her functions. For her Delhi reception, the actress wore a red Sabyasachi saree with brocade work and looked regal.
Anushka paired her Benarasi saree with a red bindi, mogra flowers in her hair, uncut diamond choker, and jhumkas from Sabyasachi too. She had put sindoor in her maang, well, ‘coz because har suhagan ka taaj hota hai, ek chutki sindoor.
She paired the saree with a red blouse and looked like a quintessential desi dulhan. Uff, we still can’t stop crushing over this stunning jodi.
Now, cut to 2019, bride Deepika Gauba wore the same Sabyasachi saree as Anushka Sharma, and we still can’t swooning. Maybe it’s the happy bride or maybe it’s the stunning Sabya saree. We don’t know!
Pairing the Benarasi saree with the same kind of blouse as Anushka’s, Deepika looked every bit royal. With red chooda and henna on her hands, this bride slayed on her D-day.
For jewellery, she wore a kundan choker, drop earrings and a maang tikka. But, it was her nath that we couldn’t get enough of. She also wore a dupatta to cover her head and that’s a fun element to add to your bridal avatar (take a cue, bride-to-be).
As for her makeup, Deepika kept it subtle and simple. She went for a flawless base and bronzed skin along with smoky eyes. She chose a pink lipstick and topped her makeup with a glittery highlighter.

Her groom complemented her perfectly in a white kurta payjama and looked absolutely dapper. We love the orange sehera he’s wearing. He picked a white shawl with intricate embroidery as a statement accessory. Wow, we love this dulha’s style!
