Fans simply cannot get enough of Vicky Kaushal's Uri - The Surgical Strike. Ever since the first screenings of the war movie, the entire country is in complete awe of the film and its box office record, so far, seem to back that claim. It has already added another fine feather to his short, but illustrious career and has shown the actor's dynamic range.
The Uri fever has now spread to Bollywood as well. Earlier this weekend, the makers of the film hosted a special screening and some of B-towns biggest stars turned up for it. The line-up included Yami Gautam, who stars opposite Vicky Kaushal in the film, Simmba actor Ranveer Singh and director Rohit Shetty, Priya Prakash Varrier, Bhumi Pednekar, Katrina Kaif as well as Neha Dhupia and husband Angad Bedi.
Ranveer was already in the mood for some action. The actor looked all hyped up when he arrived at the screening.
Ranveer, who is also gearing up for his role as Kapil Dev in 83, took some time off from his Simmba success and Gully Boy promotions. He, Varun Dhawan and Rohit Shetty almost attacked Vicky with excitement.
However, it was Oru Adaar actress who stole some of the limelight from Vicky and his bromance with Ranveer and Rohit Shetty. The actress, who brought India to a standstill in early 2018 with a wink, snapped a selfie with Ranveer.
It sure does seem that Uri was a major success among everyone who attended the screening. Critics and fans have showered praise on Vicky for his role as Major Shergill in the movie. Directed by Aditya Dhar, Uri is a story of the Indian Army's surgical strike in Jammu and Kashmir in 2016.
