We all have a keen interest in Bollywood romances and breakups and TBH, celebs relationships always grab attention from fans and paparazzi alike. No matter how much they value their privacy, being public figures makes it very difficult for celebrities to keep things hidden from the public eye. But sometimes celebs choose to open up and talk about their lives. Especially when it comes to broken relationships.

Good or bad, we always want to know everything about our favourite B-town stars. While we’ve seen a lot of actors taking their relationships to the next level, it doesn’t always end on a happy note. But life happens and there isn’t much we can do about it. We’ve seen many Bollywood celebs ending their long term relationship and sometimes we’ve seen them breaking off engagements. And let’s not even talk about all the heartbreaking divorces. More often than not, we’re left shocked when celebrities break up, but our favourite celebs always leave us with some food for thought.

When this much-adored couple announced their split, it left us all shocked. No one expected this madly in love couple to part ways after being married for 14 years. FYI Sussane Khan and Hrithik Roshan were in a relationship for 4 years before they got married. Well…18 years is a long time but we have to say that they set an example with the way they handled the divorce.

What really stuck with us was what Sussanne said about her marriage in an interview with Femina. “We had reached a stage in our lives where I decided that it’s better we weren’t together. It was important to be aware and not be in a false relationship,” she said.

2. Malaika Arora-Arbaaz Khan

Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan tied the knot after dating each other for about 4 years. But this couple called it quits after being married for 18 years and it was a mutual decision. Both Arbaaz and Malaika managed to maintain a cordial relationship with each other.

Speaking to Kareena Kapoor on her show What Women Want, Malaika opened up about her divorce and said, “If you are in an unhappy marriage and that’s what you decide to do you should do it with a lot of dignity, self-respect. Don’t let anybody tell you that you are any less of a woman. With me, I could sense that a lot of people were like, how the hell did you pull it off?”

“It’s never, ever easy, like no other major decision in your life. At the end of the day, someone has to be blamed. You always have to point fingers at someone. I think that’s the general human nature to go about things,” she added.

It seems like the couple broke up recently and Anusha hinted that Karan lied and cheated on her, which led to the breakup. In her post, Anusha spoke about loving herself as she kickstarted a love story with herself, but her love advice is something we all need to hold onto.

“Love comes in many forms, just don’t let it consume so much, that you lose you, let Love be respectful, kind and most importantly honest. I deserve it, you deserve it. The most important thing is understanding this because we accept the love we think we deserve,” said the Vj

This separation left us all shocked. Speaking about it during her interaction with Kareena Kapoor on What Women Want season 2, Kalki shared that you can love a person but not be able to live with them. She later clarified that the couple was not on the same page and wanted different things from life at that time.

Karishma Tanna and Upen Patel met inside Bigg Boss House and fell in love with each other in 2014. Later, during their stint on Nach Baliye, Upen proposed to Karishma and the duo got engaged but they did not tie the knot. The couple broke off their engagement and parted ways in 2016. Speaking about it later, Karishma said, “Sometimes there is no answer to what went wrong. Sometimes two wonderful people or good souls are not meant be together. That’s what happened to us.”

As much as we wanted them to walk down the aisle, we do agree with Karishma. Sometimes some things are just not meant to be.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Dia opened up about her divorce and said, “What gives you strength at any circumstance is your understanding of yourself. Else, you will never be able to perceive things that are happening around you. Then, you are being dishonest not only to other people but yourself. Some people feel divorce is an excuse to not compromise. Yes. in life, you have to adapt and compromise. But the question is – when does it stop? How much is too much, how less is too little? That’s a personal choice.”
