The cast of Kasautii Zindagii Kay was recently spotted at the Mumbai airport before they jetted off to Switzerland to shoot an outdoor sequence. Actor Karan Singh Grover, who recently joined the team of KZK2 as Mr Bajaj, also accompanied the lead actors Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandez on this Swiss adventure.
Mr Bajaj had a dramatic entry in the show, and now, he’s all set to stir up a storm in the Basu family. But Anurag Basu isn’t the only Basu Mr Bajaj has upset recently. Bipasha Basu, Karan Singh’s Grover wife in real life, is not very happy with her husband’s trip to the Swiss Alps.
Even before the cast of KZK2 landed in Switzerland, Bipasha posted a collage of pictures on Instagram with her dearest hubby, Karan, stating that she misses him terribly. She captioned the picture, “Miss you already … come back soonly 😘❤️ #smissyou #monkeylove #cuddlepumpkin #cutiepatootie #papabumba”
Karan, too, posted the same picture on Instagram with the caption, “Miss you lots already. Ami Aschi! #monkeylove #youremyheaven”
Ami aschi is a customary goodbye greeting in Bengali, often spoken when someone leaves. It roughly translates to ‘I’ll be back’ and is an acknowledgement that there is no such thing as a goodbye. It also sparks the hope that loved ones who depart will always meet again. Awww! Isn’t Karan’s message for wifey Bipasha the sweetest?
Bipasha has been rooting for her husband and his stint with Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Karan Singh Grover made a comeback to the small screen after almost six years. When Balaji Telefilms confirmed that Karan would be essaying the role of the iconic Mr Bajaj, Bipasha shared a picture of him and added that she thinks he looks ‘hot’ as Bajaj, “All the best @iamksgofficial for this new journey as the iconic #mrbajaj in @ektaravikapoor ‘s #kasautiizindagiikay2. Karan Singh Grover’s salt and pepper hair is a rage with the fans of Kasautii Zindagii Kay. His transformation into Mr Bajaj’s character was aimed at incorporating the looks of the OG Mr Bajaj, played by Ronit Roy.
With Mr Bajaj now in Switzerland along with star-crossed lovers Anurag and Prerna, we sure can expect a lot of surprises on the show. We are hooked and can’t wait to watch him bring into effect his machinations for taking over the Basu parivaar.
