The year 2018 was big for TV sensation and everyone's favourite Dipika Kakar. But in 2019 things have taken a different turn. Or so it seems! She may have won Bigg Boss Season 12 with flying votes, she may have married Shoaib Ibrahim - the most eligible bachelor in the television industry, and she may be one of the most popular TV stars today owing her success to her first break with Sasural Simar Ka, but her latest outfit has us doubting her fashion game.
Recently, Dipika and Shoaib attended the Annual Fest of Thakur Institute of Management Studies & Research, Mumbai as a chief guests. And what she chose to wear to the event has turned us blue with sadness. Here, have a look for yourselves:
Dipika chose Indian wear in the form of a turquoise blue skirt and top with a red dupatta and now you see why the blues are hitting us so hard, courtesy House Of Zuhaf.
Exhibit A: The long-sleeved top had a contrasting floral embroidery on it matching the dupatta looks ill-fitted.
Exhibit B: Looks like the sleeves are made of a different material altogether as is obvious from the colour difference. We are not sure if the point of this was to give the blouse a layering effect or one of an ethnic jacket worn over a top. Whatever it is, it is not working.
Exhibit C: The flared skirt, unlike the top, was a solid blue but not long enough to wear metallic wedges with it. They only made the OOTD look more tasteless.
Exhibit D: Don't even get me started on the dupatta, or as one of my colleagues called it, 'Mata ki chowki wali chunni'. The creased dupatta had an unflattering gold border and fringes all around.
Speaking of which...

Mrs Ibrahim kept her accessories minimum by wearing none and kept her makeup basic and natural. Having done an in-depth scan of the OOTD, what do you think? Do you agree with us or do you agree with us?
