The year 2020 has been quite a party popper, right? Can’t say about you but we sure have been feeling like treading an apocalyptic Earth with one calamity after another being thrown on us at regular intervals. Also, with the world duly shut, all thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, there hasn’t been much respite either. And while the entertainment industry might slowly be recovering from the pandemic slump, the past six months have mostly been a dry zone with almost no new shows to keep us distracted from all of this.
Thankfully that will soon be taken care of with the Bigg Boss Season upon us. The cult reality show is all set to go on air in October first week and as per the latest media reports, a major chunk of the contestants has already been revealed. As per the latest updates, the intro acts have already been shot, and here’s a list of all the names that have been revealed as confirmed Bigg Boss 14 contestants:
Rubina Dilaik
Known for some really memorable roles like Radhika in Chotti Bahu and Soumya Singh in Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Rubina is all set to enter the Bigg Boss house as per media reports. She is known for her calm and graceful demeanor among the media circles and it would be interesting to see how far that would take her in the Bigg Boss house. Having watched her portraying the powerful role of Soumya, we really look forward to Rubina’s Bigg Boss inning.
Tina Datta
Tina Datta again comes in the league of illustrious TV actresses and continues to be known for her dual portrayal of ‘Ichha’ and ‘Meethi’ in the popular daily soap Uttaran. The actress has also been seen in other shows like Shani and Daayan, the latter being the reason behind her #MeToo allegations against actor Mohit Malhotra. Also, the reality format isn’t new to the actress as she has participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi before. In fact, this is exactly why we look forward to her time in the Bigg Boss house.
Jasmin Bhasin
Jasmin’s Bigg Boss entry is something that Bigg Boss 13 would really look forward to given that she already entered the house on a couple of occasions in the last season and was quite a delight to watch. Also, she is very close friends with Sidharth Shukla and considering that he is going to be integrally connected to the new season, it would be fun to watch how all of this unfolds. Career-wise, she has been seen portraying the characters of Twinkle Taneja Sarna in Zee TV’s Tashan-e-Ishq, and Teni Bhanushali in Colors TV’s Dil Se Dil Tak Bhasin before.
Naina Singh
KumKum Bhagya’s Rhea Mehra and Splitsvilla 10’s most brazen contestant, Naina Singh is also all set to enter the Bigg Boss 14 house. In fact, her name has long been floating for the show and as per the latest media reports, she is finally going to enter the house and we really can’t wait to see Naina taking her contenders by the horn.
Pavitra Punia
Pavitra’s name again is a huge bait for Bigg Boss 13 fans given that she happens to be Paras Chhabra’s ex-girlfriend. The actress has earlier been seen in Love u Zindagi, Sawaare Sabke Sapne… Preeto and Naagin 3. She is also a Splitsvilla 3 contestant. A lot to look forward to here, right?
Nikki Tamboli
A South Indian film star, Nikki Tamboli would bring a sense of newness to the show given that hardly any South Indian stars have ever participated in Bigg Boss’s Hindi version. She has been seen in South Indian films such as Chikati Gadilo Chithakotudu, Thippara Meesam and Kanchana 3 to date and we really look forward to what she brings to the show.
Rahul Vaidya
As per media reports, Indian Idol fame Rahul Vaidya has also been confirmed for Bigg Boss 14. He became a household name after a hit inning in the singing reality show and it would be interesting to see him return to the reality format as a contestant yet again.
Nishant Singh Malkani
Known for the characters of Anukalp Gandhi in Ram Milaayi Jodi and Akshat Jindal in Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, Nishant looks like an interesting find for Bigg Boss 14 as well. Plus, it gets all the more interesting given that his alleged girlfriend Gia Manek is also rumoured to be a part of the show. Can’t wait to see how it unfolds!
