Bigg Boss 13: First Weekend Ka Vaar Reveals Salman Khan's Favourites From This Season

Bigg Boss Season 13's first week has been both entertaining and controversial. Since the duties were assigned before the contestants even entered the house, the fights have straight away moved on to 'this-boy-belongs-to-me' among the ladies in the house. Let's not forget the aggressive tasks that had Aarti Singh, Rashami Desai, Siddharth Shukla and Devoleena Bhattacharjee (all on the same side) fighting with Shefali Bagga. Friends have turned foes (Shehnaz Gill and Mahira Sharma fighting over Paras Chabbra) and, at this point, we don't know who is playing the game and who is being genuine.

But the show is not just a platform for a contestant to showcase their shenanigans. It's also a chance for them to impress our Chulbul Pandey. If a contestant strikes a good rapport with Salman, then they have shot at being introduced by him in Bollywood. For this, they need to get noticed by him during Weekend Ka Vaar with Salman Khan. It has always been like a platform for contestants to vent and rant. Salman then takes it up a notch by pulling up everybody and sometimes taking sides. Don't we witness this every season?

It looks like a few contestants from this season have already caught his eye. Don't believe us? Well, these instances from Weekend Ka Vaar make a pretty strong case.

Shenaaz Stormed Off While Salman Was On 'Me TV'

In yesterday's episode, there was no eviction, but Salman made the contestants do a few tasks. In one of them, they were asked to wear hair bands that had balloons on them. Salman then asked the housemates to take one person's name against whom they had a complaint, and then burst the balloon on that person's head. The house was soon transformed into a battleground, with Siddharth Shukla, Rashami Desai, Devoleena, and Koena against Siddhartha Dey. In trying to defend himself, Siddhartha Dey called Koena a "gossip aunty" who likes to talk about everyone. The battle continued in the next task as well.

The Sultani Akhada, which we also saw last season, was their next task. Siddharth Shukla and Siddhartha Dey faced each other in the akhada. And when everyone started calling the latter out, we saw Shehnaaz storming off. Even as I was thinking, "That's it, now she is going to get it from Salman," he let this pass casually. Instead, when she came back, Salman asked her why she was upset. I am sure that he would have given a piece of his mind if this were some other contestant, as we have seen him lashing out at people many times in the previous seasons.

Salman Supported Shefali Bagga

A few days ago, Shefali fat-shamed Rashami during one of the tasks. Shefali said that while Rashami has been eating well and gaining weight, she has not shown any presence of mind anywhere. Her exact words were, "Khaate peete nahi ho kya? Khaate peete toh ho kyunki motapa toh bad gaya hai par dimaag nahi." I was shocked and offended. But the two Weekend Ka Vaar episodes didn't see Salman mention this even once. No one even paid attention to the fact that Shefali body-shamed Rashami. In fact, our Bajrangi Bhaijaan only mentioned how Shefali got personal with Aarti and spoke about her relationship with Siddharth and her broken engagement. But after he said it, he was pretty quick to defend Shefali. He said, "But, after the task, you (Shefali) apologised to Aarti and you also said that you cooked up stories just for the task."

Excuse me? Aren't we going to talk about Rashami at all?

Salman Supported Aarti

Salman advised Aarti Singh, Krushna Abhishek's sister and actor Govinda's niece, about how to play the game. It looked like he was telling her to entertain us with some drama and bring out her real "sherni" avatar. "Haven't you understood the show? You have only three weeks. There isn't any time to play it slow. Apna dimaag lagao, samjho aur khelo," Salman told her. He also told Aarti to not get influenced by others and play her own game. Looks like we are going to witness some more fights and *hint hint* all of this could be related to Siddharth Shukla!
