Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal is over the moon and busy counting his blessings right now. A couple of months ago, the actor made his relationship with South African model Gabriella Demetriades Insta-official and also announced that the couple were pregnant. “Blessed to have you and start all over again….thank you baby for this baby,” he wrote in an Instagram post.
Last week, the duo finally got the happy news when Gabriella gave birth to a baby boy.
Filmmaker JP Dutta’s daughter Nidhi took to Twitter to reveal the joyous news about her friends: “Congratulations @rampalarjun on the arrival of your bundle of joy! God bless!,” she wrote in her tweet.
Arjun himself took to Instagram yesterday to share his newborn’s name. He posted a picture of the baby’s and his fingers intertwined and wrote, “That gracious thing made of tears, of happiness, gratitude and light. A rainbow appeared into our lives. So blessed we feel, gratitude and abundance of joy. Welcome junior Rampal, into our lives. Thank you all for your graciousness, love and beautiful wishes. Say hello to baby Arik Rampal. #ArikRampal”

Numerous fans and Bollywood celebs, including actress Dia Mirza, congratulated the couple on Instagram and were doting all over the “future superstar”.
Last week, Gabriella’s parents flew down from South Africa be with their daughter and grandson. Arjun’s daughters, Myra and Maahika, were also spotted at the hospital in Mumbai when Gabriella was admitted to the hospital.
Arjun and Gabriella have been sharing a few glimpses of their baby on Instagram.
Gabriella on Saturday shared a picture of herself, with Arik resting on her shoulders. “Tired but in love,” she wrote.
A few days ago, Arjun had shared a throwback picture from his youth, and wondered in the caption if his baby would look like him.
Arjun had separated from his wife Mehr Jesia in 2018 after 20 years of marriage. Arjun has two teenage daughters with his ex-wife. Talking about his daughters’ reaction to Gabriella’s pregnancy, Arjun revealed, “It’s personal and not something that I’d like to talk about. My children have been complete champions and extremely supportive of our decision.”
Earlier, in an interview, Arjun also talked about his girlfriend Gabriella and shared: “We met through common friends. So, what can I say? That she stalked me? Wishful thinking that, buddy! It’s only been a year since we started dating and here we are. For keeps. And I must add that it was of prime importance that my daughters should accept her as a part of the family. I’m blessed that they have, no questions asked.”
Gabriella is a South African supermodel. She participated in Miss Indian Premier League (IPL) Bollywood 2009 and was chosen as one of FHM’s “100 Sexiest Women In The World” contenders. She gained fame for becoming “Miss IPL Bollywood” and represented the IPL team Deccan Chargers. She has also acted in a couple of films and music videos.
On the work front, Arjun was last seen in a web show titled The Final Call.
