Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s extravagant wedding was no less than a carnival. The Ambani residence, Antilia was lit like a dream and the entire evening oozed of opulence and glamour. Isha looked splendid in her mother Nita Ambani’s wedding trousseau. The wedding ceremony saw the presence of the creme de la creme of the Bollywood fraternity, sports icons, politicians, industrialists, and many other influential people.
The Ambanis organized a gala wedding reception for the newlyweds last evening and it was no less than a fete either!
Wondering why we called it a fete? The reception was held at Jio Gardens in Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai and like any other function, saw the entire film fraternity in attendance.
The only thing the wedding festivities lacked was a musical concert but can the Ambanis ever fail to impress? No!
Music legend A. R. Rahman performed to all his hits at the reception or should we say concert?! From Khalbali from Rang De Basanti to Dum Daara Dum from Guru, he set the stage on fire with his magical vocals. His performance was as starry as his shimmery silver jacket!
Singers Harshdeep Kaur and Armaan Malik too performed at the ceremony.
