The night of 20th of December was a glitzy affair with all the celebs in attendance for the Priyanka-Nick wedding reception (the last one!). The reception was a gala of fun and laughter and lots of dance, of course! While we were hooked to our Insta feeds for all the latest pictures and deets, we could not help but notice how most celebs decided to go the ‘less is more’ route with their makeup.
While the bride of the hour, Priyanka Chopra looked every bit stunning in her Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla outfit, one guest managed to grab our attention and how! Anushka Sharma’s look has got to be our favorite, without a doubt. From her hair and makeup to that beautiful Sabyasachi Saree and those dazzling jewels, she really was a vision in sea green.

For her outfit, Anushka’s stylist, Allia Al Rufai, dressed her in a Sabyasachi cocktail saree hand-embroidered with French knots, hand-cut brass sequins, and crystals in colors of sepia-tinted sea-foam. Her pallu was decadently fringed with semi-precious stones. Major 60’s vibes here!

She also opted for jewelry by Sabyasachi with a statement ’60s choker, hand-crafted in Zambian emeralds, rose cut and brilliant cut diamonds. Her earrings are made of unusual leaf-shaped, Colombian emeralds girdled with brilliant cut diamonds.

While we are still getting over her stunning outfit, we cannot miss her equally splendid makeup. Sandhya Shekar, her makeup artist, kept the look clean and minimal with an emphasis on her eyes. We think the choice of dark grey contact lenses helped accentuate them even more! She opted for brown smokey eyes that made the makeup pop and kept the look elegant. Sandhya continued with the clean theme with a pretty nude-pink lipstick for a hint of romance.

Florian Hurel, her hair stylist managed to keep it simple but oh-so glam with a dreamy low ponytail that had plenty of volume on the top and few face-framing tendrils. All in all, Anushka Sharma looked nothing less than royalty and it’s a look that we will definitely be taking inspiration from for weddings to come.
