Anusha Dandekar and Karan Kundra’s breakup came as a major shock to their fans. After all, they were the Love School professors that everyone adored. But even though Anusha isn’t a Love professor anymore, she definitely has solid advice on self-love, healing, and relationships that everyone needs to read.
The VJ recently hosted a Question and Answer session on her social media handle and bared her heart to her fans. From candidly talking about her relationship status to how she is dealing with the breakup, Anusha replied to all her fan’s questions and we’re in awe.
During the QnA session, a fan asked, “How u dealt with ur breakup?..I know u must have been torn 4m inside…but u looked so strong.” The India’s Next Top Model host explained that she was not torn but rather shocked to learn that she had allowed herself to go through such a situation. She said, “You know I wasn’t even torn from the inside, I was more shocked and disappointed in what I had accepted all these years when I stepped away and saw the reality of what was going on…how much self love and self respect I had allowed myself to lose…I really broke my own heart…if that makes sense.”
Anusha had opened about her breakup earlier this year in an official statement on her Instagram handle. She had revealed that her partner had cheated and lied to her and said, “Yes even I lost myself and some of my self respect, yes I’ve been cheated and lied to… yes I waited for an apology, which never came, yes I learnt I actually had to apologise and forgive myself… And yes i grew, have grown and will continue to grow from all of it and look at the positive…”
While talking about her relationship status during the session, Anusha said that she’s in love with herself and wants to find someone who’s honest. She wrote, “Falling in love with me and finding someone who will be ugly laugh like this hahaha and also be HONEST, loyal and not afraid of a real woman!”
