For those who don’t know, filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan recently took to her Instagram handle and posted an open letter to all mothers. She conveyed her feelings about becoming a mom at the age of 43 through in vitro fertilization (IVF). Farah, who is a mother to triplets–Anya, Czar, and Diva–wrote, “Our choices make us. I became an IVF mom at 43 and I am glad I did so. I wish a great motherhood to all women out there who want to be mothers – naturally or otherwise. An open letter to all the women out there, reminding them that #ItsAWomansCall Are you with me ladies?”
Taking inspiration from Farah, Anita posted an adorable picture of herself while flaunting that baby bump and opened up about her decision to embrace motherhood in her late thirties. Saying that it’s a woman’s call, Anita wrote, “What if I had given in to the people asking me to become a mother just because I was married? Then I would be deceiving myself more than anyone else. It’s so important to understand what women want out of their lives and letting them make their choices! @farahkhankunder’s heartfelt letter is another confirmation that I made the right choice to wait till I was ready. Mommy-to-be Anita has always been active on social media and didn’t shy away from posting her pictures and videos flaunting her baby bump. Anita and Rohit recently went on a “Babymooniiversary” to celebrate their wedding anniversary. The love birds have been married for seven years and have been together for ten years. Talking about planning a baby, Anita had said, “It just felt like the perfect timing. We were absolutely ready. We wanted to settle with a baby this year and it happened perfectly. Honestly, we have been planning it for a while now. It was not necessarily that we had to do it at this time. We knew right from the start that 2020 is the year, and I think it happened at a great time. God planned it beautifully.”
Well, the couple did manage to hide their pregnancy for quite a while but now that they have shared the big news, they’re sharing each and every moment with their fans and we’re loving it. Coming back to Anita’s post on motherhood, all we can say is that we couldn’t agree more. It is indeed a woman’s call!
