Amitabh Bachchan–the name says it all! With a career spanning over six decades, Big B has time and again proved that he is indeed the ‘Shahenshah’ of Bollywood. Even at the age of 77, he continues to give us mesmerising performances. And guess what!? If the buzz is to be believed, there’s new star kid on the block and he’s related to the Big B.
We are talking about his grandson Agastya Nanda, who is all set make his debut in the film industry. Agastya is the son of Big B’s daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda. According to media reports, he has already started prepping for Bollywood.
Agastya, who recently graduated from Sevenoaks School in Kent, London, has been spending time at the Bachchan House in Mumbai. Recently, Big B shared a picture on his Instagram handle striking a cool pose with Agastya while holding a dumbbell. Check it out!
The 19-year-old star kid already has a fan following on social media. He was recently spotted at his aunt Neetu Kapoor’s 62nd intimate birthday party. For those of you who don’t know the Kapoor-Nanda connection, Agastya is the grandson of Neetu Kapoor’s late sister-in-law Ritu Nanda. He attended the private bash with some of the other family members including Ranbir Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor and Reema Jain.
Over a year ago on Koffee With Karan, Shweta had expressed that she would not want her daughter Navya Naveli Nanda to enter the showbiz because of the hate and scrutiny her brother Abhishek Bachchan had to go through. And Navya, who recently graduated from New York’s Fordham University, has also said in earlier interviews that she had no plans of stepping into Bollywood. Well, we are wishing luck and love to Agastya.
