And, it’s confirmed. Congratulations are in order for the cutesy television couple, Karan Patel and his wife, Ankita Karan Patel. Recently, speculations were rife that Karan and Ankita are expecting their first baby in November this year.
We had also told you about the same, but there was no confirmation about the news of Ankita’s pregnancy. In fact, when questioned about the same, Karan had this to say:
“Nahi nahi baba. I am not in India, this is just a rumour. We will announce it if I happen to be a father.”
But, on the occasion of Karan and Ankita’s third wedding anniversary today (they got married on 3 May 2015), Karan’s dear friend and co-star from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Aly Goni took to Instagram to congratulate the couple on two things – their anniversary and their pregnancy. He put up a very cute post, with a picture of the couple and the most adorable caption with it. Take a look:
Here is what the caption said:
“Happy anniversary to my jaans… god blesss u.. bohot hua romi chachu now I m ready to become Aly chachu for rest of my life!!! I loveeeeeeee u both sooooooooo muchhh!”
OMG, that’s so very cute, isn’t it?
And well, for those of you who did not understand the caption properly, we’re here to explain! Aly and Karan play brothers in their show, and therefore Aly is Romy (his character’s name) chachu to Karan’s on-screen kids. That is why he said that it’s time to be a chachu in real life too! Samajh gaye, na?
Well, now that we know it’s true, we would like to extend our heartiest congratulations to the new parents-to-be! We know what a special feeling it must be for them, and we’re sure they’ll cherish these beautiful moments to the fullest!
