The Ambani wedding finally concluded last night with a star-studded celebration, and all sorts of ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ stuff happened there. For starters, Anant and Akash Ambani welcomed the baraat on a ghodi. Beat that! Almost all Bollywood celebrities made their way to Antilia for Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s wedding. But we noticed a colour domination in their outfits. The colour being white! Not one, not four, but 15 Bollywood celebrities carried an all-white look. Here is a complete list of who wore what and why you should wear the colour too.
1. The Bride Isha Ambani Herself

Isha Ambani chose to trust Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for the Big Day. She wore an off-white lehenga and carried two dupattas with it – one over her head in a matching colour and another one over her shoulder in red with gold embroidery. Her dupatta drape was done by the popular drape artist Dolly Jain. And look at the train behind her. Wow! Her jewellery was all diamond and all-stunning. What an unusual choice of colour for the wedding. Dear brides to be, are you taking notes?
2. Deepika Padukone

Deepika brought her A-game with this custom-made saree by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. While the saree was slightly sheer with a criss-cross pattern in an off-white colour, the blouse was heavy with gold embroidery on top of a bright red. We are loving the concept of full-sleeved blouse designs this season. Her signature clean bun and bridal chooda completed her look for the night along with gold-toned danglers.
3. Ranveer Singh

And to no one’s surprise, husband Ranveer Singh decided to twin with his new wife in a pristine white kurta and pyjama set. This self-designed outfit he paired with Sabyasachi juttis in a coffee brown colour. So dapper!
4. Kareena Kapoor Khan

Kareena Kapoor’s outfits are always the talk of the town. And last night was no surprise. She wore an all-white lehenga-choli by Anita Dongre and took our breaths away with her oh-so-sculpted makeup. Her lehenga skirt had silver embroidery lending a heavy look and feel to the ensemble. We like the bralette-style choli teamed with the sheer dupatta with lace motifs. She accessorised with drop earrings, a maangtikka, a statement ring, and bangles.
5. Saif Ali Khan

Look who else decided to twin for the evening! Saif Ali Khan wore a matching white sherwani with a printed pocket square. Even the buttons on his sherwani were in hues of silver. Clearly, the ‘it’ couple was the lit couple at Isha Ambani’s wedding. What do you think?
6. Karisma Kapoor

To quote Karisma, her and Bebo were “coincidently twinning again!” in white. Karisma wore a white and gold saree by Raw Mango and dressed up her look with a gorgeous choker necklace, a pair of studs, a ring, and a bangle – all by Jet Gems. Clearly, Kundan jewellery is back with a bang. And how cute is that matching potli bag from the house of Aloha by Pia & Sonal!
7. Hrithik Roshan

You don’t see a lot of Hrithik Roshan but when you do, you can’t not obsess about him. Hrithik wore a button-down kurta and churidar with a navy blue Nehru jacket by Shantanu & Nikhil and completed the look with brown oxfords. If you ask me, it’s his salt and pepper stubble that made this OOTN look like a million bucks. Why so hot, HR?
8. Disha Patani

Disha Patani’s style usually boasts of monotones. She keeps her accessory game low and lets her outfit get all the limelight. This white and silver lehenga is a classic Falguni Shane Peacock number and characteristic of their signature glitter and sequin work. The teeny tiny choli reminds us of a boob tube. With an inverted scoop neck design and sheer full sleeves with an OD of silver embroidery, this lehenga is one of our favourites from the night. And what’s not to love about the starry organza dupatta, eh?
9. Kiara Advani

Kiara Advani, one of Isha’s childhood friends, trusted her favourite designer, Manish Malhotra, for the occasion. We love how her lehenga choli had salmon pink accents that make the outfit look anything but boring. The lehenga skirt is a statement piece thanks to the heavy threadwork, fringed details, and sequinned hemline. It’s also encrusted with Swarovski crystals, did you know? And the draped blouse with over-exaggerated sleeves is an eye candy too. Cold-shoulder never looked this captivating – thoughts we share about her diamond jewellery by Diosa as well.
10. Jacqueline Fernandez

Jackie sported an off-white embroidered lehenga with a cape for a dupatta and looked like royalty personified in this effortless number by Anamika Khanna. Matching the dainty floral embroidery on the cape, she accessorised the look with dark green round studs. All she needed was a statement-making gold box clutch to nail the look.
11. Madhuri Dixit Nene

Madhuri mixed her white lehenga with a bit of both gold and silver, and we appreciate the thought. All credit goes to Jade by Monica and Karishma for the fabulous design. She added a pop of colour with emerald earrings and a ring making the ensemble look more interesting. And the tiered tassel ties on the side are a fun addition, don’t you think?
12. Varun Dhawan

Varun wore a three-piece set in an ivory white colour by none other than his favourite designer Kunal Rawal and was styled by Rhea Kapoor, talk about a fashion dream team. The deconstructed outfit features gorgeous threadwork on the jacket adding a crisp, structured look to the traditional attire in a contemporary way. Varun came for the wedding with his long-time girlfriend, Natasha Dalal. Oh, such a happy picture this is.
13. Amitabh Bachchan And Jaya Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, too, wore matching white outfits for the Ambani wedding. While Big B was dressed in a high-collar button-down sherwani, Jaya Bachchan wore a white organza saree. Both of them wore heavy layered necklaces to complete their look. We wonder who will win in this battle of the biggest necklaces – The Bachchans or the Ambanis.
15. Aamir Khan

Lastly, Aamir Khan, who was one of the first few people to make it to Antilia for the wedding, also wore a white kurta-pyjama. Let’s face it, Aamir likes to keep things simple, and that’s also one of the many qualities that we adore him so much for.
