Bolly Wali Diwali: B-Town Glittered Last Night But We’ve Got Our Eyes On Kajol!

It’s the season of lights and everyone is celebrating. The Diwali parties have been lined up, taash cards are out and everyone is dressing up in their ethnic best. Bollywood has been living it up by hopping from one Diwali bash to another for the past week. And we’re been so impressed with their stunning outfits.

Last night, actor Jackky Bhagnani hosted a Diwali party at his place and all the celebs dressed up in their glittery Indianwear. From Shahid Kapoor-Mira Rajuput and Arjun Kapoor to Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan everyone dazzled us with their beautiful outfits. Really lighting up everyone’s Insta feed, guys.

Sara Ali Khan

Sara Ali Khan chose a fresh look for the evening with this bright, chrome bandhani saree paired with a fuchsia blouse. She even carried a matching pink potli and wore juttis. We love that she went with minimal accessories of stacked gold bangles, and finished her look off with a tiny, pink bindi. For makeup too, she kept it simple with a base, kajal rimmed eyes, and pinkish lip gloss.

Taapsee Pannu

Taapsee Pannu glittered in this Falguni Shane Peacock lehenga. With a silver bustier top and a silver skirt along with a matching dupatta, she looked absolutely magnificent. She tied up her hair in a bun and wore statement pearl earrings with it. Twirling in a lehenga is kinda a must, right?

Kriti Sanon

Kriti Sanon wore an orange floral saree for the occasion with a fully sequined bodysuit. She paired it with a silver kada and gold and orange drop earrings. Genda phools all around!

Nupur Sanon

Kriti’s sister, Nupur Sanon also showed up in a sky blue sharara. With muted silver gota work on the kurti and chunni, Nupur shined bright. She wore silver earrings to complete the look and let her gorgeous tresses make a statement for themselves.

Malaika Arora

Like always, Malaika Arora looked like a queen. She wore a gold, crinkled skirt along with a black, full-sleeved crop top and flaunted that toned midriff. She added a three-string emerald neckpiece and that caught all the eyes. She paired it with matching earrings and carried a gold clutch to complement the look.

Rajkumar Rao & Patralekha

These two have slowly become our fave couple in Bollywood. With their cute shenanigans all over Instagram, it is tough not to believe in love when they are around. Last night, Patralekha wore a pale blue lehenga with silver work and added that touch of bold with a deep red lipstick. Raj chose a more casual avatar and dressed in all black denim and a Givenchy tee. We love the sneakers, Raj!

Shahid Kapoor & Mira Kapoor

Mira Kapoor wore a white and silver Indo-western outfit. Her white pants had tassels as did her kurti. Well, we love this hatke look. Shahid chose a pale, pista green kurta with white pajamas for his Diwali #OOTN. Shamira on point!

Bhumi Pednekar

Bhumi Pednekar attended the Diwali bash with her sister Samiksha and wore an all-blue outfit. The lehenga was designed by Tamanna Punjabi Kapoor and the Dum Laga Ke Haisha actor pulled it off so beautifully.

Preity Zinta

The dimpled beauty also chose an Indo-western outfit for the party. She wore loose white pants with a white top with red mirror work on it. She put on red pumps and fresh lipgloss and finished it off with some gorgeous jhumkis. PZ, we are fans!

Tahira Kashyap & Nusrat Bharucha

Tahira Kashyap chose a chrome, leheriya dress for the bash and looked as bright as the sun. She carried an orange sling and wore tiny, pearl earrings. Nusrat Bharucha paired blue pants with a sheer-sleeved blouse. She went for smokey eyes, bronzed skin and a nude lip.

Varun Dhawan

Varun Dhawan was in the full festive mood in a red kurta with a white pajama and red, kholapuri chappals. Aren’t bright colours just the best during this season?

While all these celebs looked beyond beautiful, there was one who we couldn’t get our eyes off.

Kajol

Kajol chose to wear a saree for Mallika Bhatt’s Diwali party and wow. The navy blue saree had gold work on the pallu. We love the scalloped edged blouse she matched with it to add in the trendy vibe. She paired gold temple earrings with it.
