Contrary to what we had expected, starting the year with a big fat celeb wedding hasn’t done us any good. If anything, it has made us all the more eager (read impatient) about all the celebs who can possibly seal the deal this year. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, of course, top this list and the latter’s pictures from a recent ad shoot have just added to the frenzy.
Currently, pictures from Alia Bhatt’s latest ad shoot are going viral. In a now-deleted post by celeb henna artist Veena Nagda, the actress can be seen dressed as a bride, complete with a shaadi ka joda and mehendi. Amid all the speculations about Alia and Ranbir’s impending wedding, they are, of course, catching the fans’ fancy. Not gonna lie, the pics and that on-point outfit are actually making us dream of Alia’s shaadi and here’s everything that we are loving about her look:
The Dreamy Lehenga
Keeping up with the 2021 bridal trends, Alia opted for a peach, pastel lehenga. Instead of heavy embellishments, the outfit features resham colour-on-colour embroidery we love just how breezy it looks. The minimal look has been completed with a kundan choker, jumkas, and a statement maang tikka.
She also kept it subtle in the makeup department with soft pink lips and clean albeit bold eyes. Here’s how you can get the look:

The Attention To Details
Besides the outfit, it’s also Alia’s striking mehendi and the rich hue that are doing it for us. I mean, with that outfit and the gorgeous henna, she is legit making us think about #Ralia wedding. Nope, we aren’t complaining.
After all, it was only recently that Ranbir talked about their shaadi plans and said, “I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal very soon in my life,” adding that the deal would’ve been ‘sealed’ had the ‘pandemic not hit our lives’.
Also, remember when Anushka Sharma & Virat Kohli did a shaadi ad days before tying the knot? Seriously hoping that this too is one of those classic instances of some filmy foreshadowing!
