Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic death triggered a debate on nepotism and favouritism in the entertainment industry and this time it doesn’t seem to be dying down anytime soon. His fans have alleged that Bollywood ‘insiders’ or the elites of the industry, ostracised him, which drove him to suicide.

That being said, a campaign to make the trailer of Sadak 2 the most disliked video was started by social media users in the days leading up to its release. So much so that hashtags like #BoycottSadak2 also started trending on Twitter. The entire Bhatt clan is being trolled for being the flag bearers of nepotism in Bollywood.

Sadak 2 Is 98% Nepotistic!

For the unversed, the late actor’s brother-in-law, Mayuresh Krishna, launched an app by the name, Nepometer. As the name suggests, the app is developed to point out the proportion of nepotism in a movie. The Mahesh Bhatt-directorial was the first one to be rated on Nepometer and it was found to be 98% nepotistic. Here’s what the tweet read: “#Sadak2 is 98% Nepotistic. We rated it based on 5 categories, Producer, Lead Artists, Supporting Artists, Director & Writer. 4 out of 5 categories have Bollywood Family members. When #nepometer is high it’s time to #boycottbollywood”.
