There’s no doubt that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are currently the most adorable couple in Bollywood. As much as we’re in love with their off-screen chemistry, we can’t wait to see their love shine brightly on the silver screen as well. For shooting their first-ever collaboration with their friend and director, Ayan Mukerji’s movie Brahmastra, this ‘it’ couple were recently, seen heading towards Prayagraj for the Kumbh Mela with the whole team. Just before they left, Alia and Ranbir gave each other a warm hug that made us all go weak in the knees.
On their way to Kumbh Mela, Alia took to Instagram to share a couple of stories with her fans. While she introduced us to the whole team and wished us a Happy Mahashivrati, we even got a glimpse of this duo’s fun and quirky love for each other. On questioning, if we had any idea why they were heading towards Kumbh Mela, Ranbir was quick to jump in and say, “To leave you there, so that nobody can ever find you.” Hehe! Now isn’t that the kind of leg-pulling fun relationship we all dream about?
After giving a playful smirk, Alia went on to emphasise that it was an auspicious day and how they had planned something “supremely special” for all the viewers. Even then, Ranbir continued to tease her by making horns on her head whenever he got a chance. Slapping his hand away, she expressed that on behalf of the team of Brahmastra, it would be a never-seen-before event and was thus super excited.
Just when we thought that’s it, she faced the camera right in front of Ranbir and told him to say, “Tune in at 7:30” to all their fans. She then told him to give a nice smile and flaunt his cute dimples, as well. Well, is that what really made Alia fall in love with Ranbir in the first place? We wonder!
Earlier today, the producer of Brahmastra, Karan Johar took to his Twitter and wrote, “Tonight, the Kumbh Mela is going to be a lot more magical!” Sources have stated that the Brahmastra cast will be unveiling the logo of the trilogy at the event. Apart from the lead duo, the movie also features megastars like Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Divyendu Sharma, Mouni Roy and Akkineni Nagarjuna and is expected to hit the screens in December 2019.
