Alia Bhatt has always shared the most loving relationship with her family. Her candid pictures with the family, praising her talented mom and dad during interviews are proof enough. And if we talk about supportive celebrity siblings, there wouldn’t be much of a list without Shaheen and Alia Bhatt. The two are each other’s fiercest cheerleaders in every way!
Today, it is her older sister, Shaheen’s birthday and Alia took to Instagram to share a heartfelt note about her. She even shared a couple of throwback pictures of both of them as kids and we can’t contain our happiness.
Alia penned down her overwhelming emotions and said that she cannot put everything she feels or has felt for her sister into words. She has written and rewritten what she should say to Shaheen on her special day and still can’t think of what exactly to write.
The Highway actor wrote, “Now here’s that moment where I’m struggling to type that perfect birthday caption for my brilliant sisters birthday.. I type I cancel I type I cancel.. and the reason I do that is (well for starters I’m not a beautiful writer like her) but also cause we speak a language that would probably not make sense.. The relationship we share is a language that doesn’t exist.. except for in our eyes.. and toes okay and maybeeee our knees…”
She further added, “Sir.. You’re the sweetest artichoke the pudding of Naples has seen cause eventually we all just have to bobble our way through the heavens of sisterhood and I’m glad we’ve had the little nook of heaven with cats and aloo fry and tons of london! Happy birthday sweet carrot I hope we yoddle together for as long as we have arms and leggies 🙂 Oh and happy birthday 😀🙂❤️”

On the work front, Alia is currently shooting with Mahesh Bhatt and half-sister Pooja Bhatt for Sadak 2. Her film, Bramhastra with Ranbir Kapoor, is also all set to release next year. It also stars Mouni Roy and Amitabh Bachchan, and is directed by Ayaan Mukherjee.
