If everyone I know had to choose just one function from the big, fat, desi shaadi to attend, they’d definitely pick the sangeet. I mean, the saat phere at the mandap are all great but nothing really compares to the fun, frolic, and masti of the sangeet. From dance practices and performances to sipping the night away, it’s just one massive party. And it’s not just true for us, even Bolly celebs kick off their heels and hit the dance floor! Don’t you remember the all-white extravaganza at Sonam ki shaadi?!
This time it’s Alia Bhatt who maroed some thumkas at her bestie’s wedding. Dancing on internet’s fave songs Lamberghini and Coca-Cola, she really got her Bolly swag to the wedding.
The entire bridal squad got together and twirled along with the bride, Devika Advani and we’re totally convinced that the ladkiwalas won the unsaid competition of who danced better. Tip: Get your girl crew to wear lehengas for the sangeet so that during the performance all the spins look stunning.
The Gully Boy star chose to wear an Anita Dongre colour blocking yellow and blue lehenga for the occasion and looked like the sunshine that she is!
