Alia Bhatt has had an interesting career trajectory in Bollywood. She made her debut with Karan Johar’s directorial film Student Of The Year, where her stint as ‘rich brat’ Shanaya won her various accolades. To later change her ‘delicalte’ image, she proved her mettle by taking on unconventional roles in movies like Highway, Udta Punjab and Dear Zindagi. Her movie Raazi, in which Alia bagged the leading role, roared at the box-office, making her one of the most sought-after actresses in the industry. She’s adored by her fans and is also a director’s delight.
Alia was also a part of Forbes’ list of super achievers from Asia under the age of 30 who are “pushing boundaries of innovation.” And if that isn’t proof that things are going well for the actress, we also heard that she recently expanded her real estate portfolio and purchased a third property. As per a report in DNA, Alia acquired a 2,300-square foot apartment situated on the first floor of a sought-after building in Juhu, and she paid a whopping Rs 13 crore for it!
Alia is also the proud owner of two more properties in Juhu, that she bought in 2015 from Anupam and Kirron Kher. While one was for Rs 5.16 crores, the other cost Rs 3.83 crores.
She presently resides in a swanky Juhu apartment with her sister Shaheen Bhatt. The Bhatt sisters moved into the apartment in 2016.
On the work front, Alia is currently busy with the promotions of Gully Boy, which is her first onscreen collaboration with Ranveer Singh. Helmed by Zoya Akhtar, the film is all set to release on February 14, 2019.
Alia also recently wrapped up Kalank starring Varun Dhawan and is working on Brahmastra, in which she will be seen opposite beau Ranbir Kapoor for the first ever time.
