Akshay Kumar just posted the first look of his next film, Kesari and we can’t get over how intense the poster looks! Akshay has truly outdone himself this time and you can feel the warrior within him. The movie is based on the Battle of Saragarhi, fought before the Tirah Campaign on 12 September 1897 between Sikh soldiers of the British Indian Army and Pashtun Orakzai tribesmen, where 21 Sikh soldiers killed 600 Afghans lead by Havildar Ishar Singh (who we suspect is the character Akshay is set to play). It occurred in the North-West Frontier Province, now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The film is all set to release in on Holi, 2019. Originally to be a collaboration between Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar the film did see a rough patch when Salman opted out of the project. However, all seems well now as Dharma Production makes way towards completing the film.
