We're currently into the third month of a nationwide lockdown, and the news of the rising number of coronavirus cases every day only makes us anxious and upset. During such trying times, it is the sweet gestures by people around us that are helping us get through the day. And this time, it is Aaradhya Bachchan who will put a smile on your face.
Aaradhya's mother, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, took to Instagram to share her daughter's sweet tribute for frontline workers--in the form of a drawing. In the drawing, you can see Aaradhya standing with her parents, Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan. Hearts, hands joined in namaste and drawings of frontline workers such as doctors, policemen and nurses adorn the top half of the picture. Words such as “Stay safe, stay home,” and “Thank you,” are written on the bottom half of the picture. She has also signed her name on the bottom right-hand corner.
Aishwarya shared the post with the caption “my darling Aaradhya’s Gratitude and Love.”
Did we mention that Aaradhya's parents also feature on the drawing? They can be seen on the bottom half of the painting, standing on either side of her and holding her hands. Isn't this the sweetest thing you've seen on the internet today?
Like ours, this drawing by Aaradhya touched several hearts, and comments appreciating her art poured in. “Such a lovely painting 💙”, said one fan, while another wrote "Oh love it!! Very thoughtful!!''
This isn't the first time Aaradhya paid tribute to frontline workers--she had joined her parents and grandparents -- Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan -- to honour essential service providers on the janta curfew day on March 22. We hope this budding artist's work makes more appearances on her mother's Instagram handle in the future!
