Thefts, murders, rape, cybercrime, kidnapping these are the kinds of news we're used to reading in the papers on online. Any time someone begins the thread with, "There's something I want to share...," we assume it's a piece of bad news.
But today, in a really long time, there's an appreciation post, a happy story.
A Twitter user who goes by the handle '@DarthSierra' took to his feed to share his amazing experience with an Ola cab driver named Asif Iqbal Abdul Gaffar Pathan.
The user wrote:
He talked about how his wife and he had taken a cab to head to a pub to ring in his birthday.
Stuck in the rain, they started talking to the driver and then they overheard the driver call up his wife.
They finally reached their destination and the cab driver drove away. This man realised that he had lost his wallet or maybe forgotten it in the cab. So, he called the cab driver to check.
The cab driver told the man that he had kept the phone with him safely and was on his way to return it to them.
The cab driver wished the man, "Happy Birthday," and told the couple that it was his birthday too!
He further added that his family was waiting for him to cut the cake.
The man shared a picture of the driver smiling.
He concluded by saying that he wanted to share this positive experience with the Twitterati.
Netizens loved the cab driver's honesty and genuineness and were all praises for him. Read on!
