Alia Bhatt’s looks define trends pretty much in Tinsel Town. With each film, comes a new look and new inspiration. This Saturday, which was also India’s 70th Republic Day, the B-town stars were shining at the wedding of Alia Bhatt’s cousin Sakshi Bhatt. From Vicky Kaushal to Rekha, everyone was at the party. While the looks of most of the celebs kept me hooked to my Insta-feed, Alia Bhatt’s was the one that really stood out and is most definitely a favourite. Yes, with that smile of hers, she looked like a dream.

The Raazi girl has always been a head-turner and it was no different at her first cousin’s wedding as well. She was dressed in a white sequin lehenga from House of Chikankari. Her makeup artist, Puneet B Saini knew exactly what to do with her all-white look. Alia’s outfit was delicate looking and to compliment the same, Puneet went ahead with a dewy makeup look. She used a peachy-pink blush to enhance the glow and I have to say, a subtle grapefruit lip colour to highlight her lips against an all-white lehenga was a smart idea. While the shade accentuates Alia’s features, it continues to keep her look ‘delicate’.

Priyanka Borkar, Alia’s hairstylist added another smart punch to her look – a clean bun. The hairstyle went well with the look and drew attention to her oversized chandbaalis from Amrapali Jewels. The middle-parted low-bun also kept the oh-so-glam factor alive. The updo worked well, instead of taking the focus away from Alia’s makeup and outfit, it gave her face-frame enough space to become the highlight of the night. All-in-all, dewy and delicate always works well for Alia and will work for you as well as it’s an easy-to-don look.
