Priyanka Chopra is a name in Bollywood that needs no introduction. The former Miss World started her career in 2003 with The Hero: Love Story Of A Spy and really made her mark with movies such as Aitraaz and Mujhse Shaadi Karoge. Today, she is one of the most recognised and applauded talents in the world. She has even gone Hollywood: Priyanka Chopra has launched a music album, played a major part in an American sitcom and she has been doing movies in Hollywood. How versatile is she?
The actress is headstrong and her versatility is extraordinary. She can effortlessly switch from being a diva to an ordinary girl. Recently, she was seen dancing on the streets of New York with Liam Hemsworth and she looked like a star that she is. The actress is constantly on the move and she's always surprising us with new ventures and we love her for it.
She is an inspiration. So on her birthday today, we have listed out all the reasons that she is a #BossWoman and proudly so.
Her stint as Alex Parrish, a bright FBI recruit who joins the agency after graduating from the FBI Academy and becomes a prime suspect of a terrorist attack on Grand Central Terminal, in hit web series Quantico has received many accolades.
With her stints in Barfi, 7 Khoon Maaf, Fashion and Mary Kom, Priyanka has changed the way Bollywood looked at women, giving rise to more meaningful women-centric films.
How many seas must a white dove sail Before she sleeps in the sand? Yes, and how many times must the cannon balls fly Before they're forever banned? The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind The answer is blowin' in the wind. #dylanstruck 🕊 pic credit : @aaysharma
She won a Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role for playing a wicked, gold digging and scheming seductress in Aitraaz.
She went on from being a girl most people didn't know about to a girl the whole world is gushing over. With Hollywood projects like Baywatch and Isn't It Romantic in her kitty, she's a global icon in every sense of the word.

She was a complete outsider in the industry, who dared to dream big and well, she's carved a niche for her without any connections in either Bollywood or Hollywood.
Many models entered the industry, struggled and went unnoticed. But Priyanka's success story made her an inspiration and role model for all models dreaming of making a mark in the movies.
She entered the Guinness World Records book for being the first film actress to portray 12 distinct characters in Ashutosh Gowariker's film What's Your Raashee?
For all those who made fun of her accent and called it fake, Priyanka gave it back to them by delivering three hit English tracks, In My City, I Can't Make You Love Me and Exotic.
In 2013, she lent her voice to the character of Ishani, the reigning Pan-Asian champion from India and the love interest of the main protagonist in the Disney Animation Studios's film Planes.
She won a National Award for her impeccable performance in Fashion and is a recipient of India's fourth highest civilian honour, the Padma Shri.
She’s a strong woman who has been vocal about whatever she strongly feels about or believes in. She's eloquent and there’s no way anybody can take her for a ride. She has slammed journalists time and again when they probed her with unnecessary controversial questions in the most epic way.
She is the founder of the production company Purple Pebble Pictures, which released the acclaimed Marathi comedy-drama Ventilator.
When Mansur Ali, 12 yrs old, first came to the Child Friendly Space (CFS) at the Balukhali camp, he was only drawing scenes of bloodshed and violence. Helicopters shooting at him and his friends playing soccer... or his village and home being on fire with burning bodies all around him.. Today, his drawings reflect a more hopeful story, one we would like all these children to have. Since the #Rohingya children have arrived in Cox’s Bazar, they have been living in overcrowded camps with no real place that to call their own. Imagine a space that lets you forget your troubles and be a child again... even if its only for just a few hours a day. For the Rohingya children, over 300,000, in the camps in Bangladesh this is the only space that allows them to be kids. These Child Friendly Spaces created by @unicef give kids access to art, music, dance, sport, and counselling etc. The space has often proved to be very therapeutic, helping these kids deal with the horrific situations they faced.. the @unicef aid workers work tirelessly to make sure these children find their spirit again. It doesn’t matter where a child is from or what his or her circumstances are... NO child deserves a life without hope for the future. The world needs to care. We need to care.
