I'm shifting to a new city for an internship and I'm scared like freaked out completely. I've never been away from my parents. It's just for 8 months but the thought is scaring me. Any tips to make my life easier? Or may something I could do to miss them less? Should I go? | POPxo

Research about the place you are shifting to. How are the people around, how is the city in general, what are the manners and etiquette of people in the city and so on. It would help if you have a friend or someone who has been there or who is from the city or any place near to it. Be on your guard. Don't trust people easily. If you are going to stay in a room with some unknown girls then keep a count of your things. Keep Skyping your friends and parents. That will make you feel better. Let your parents know about your whereabouts. You will be fine. Don't worry 😊
