I have grown up listening to the most absurd rumors about myself. In school, I became a slut for wearing a skirt that was an inch shorter than everyone else’s. When I went to college, I became the professor’s pet for just doing my job. I also became a bad person when I was just minding my own business. After a while, it all became very mundane for me.
I asked other women about the weirdest rumor they have ever heard about themselves and here’s what they had to say.
1. “The weirdest thing I have ever heard about myself is that I was dead. I literally took a few weeks off from college and didn’t tell a lot of people about it. My batchmates thought that I was dead.” -Nidhi K
