A few days ago, when Gauahar Khan revealed that she had a crush on Farhan Akhtar, she had no idea what a nightmare her honest confession was going to become. During an interview with a leading daily, the actress spilled the beans about both her and Shibani Dandekar having a thing for the actor when they participated in the reality show, called I Can Do That, in 2015.
Commenting on Shibani-Farhan’s love story and their equation back then, Gauahar shared, “I don’t know if their love story started then, because I wouldn’t have any idea. But we were all crushing on Farhan at that time. We were all smitten by him, including Shibani and I.” She also mentioned how they used to talk about how good-looking and an amazing person Farhan was. However, Gauahar claims that her words were completely twisted by a few online portals who wrote that she used to flirt with Farhan.
This did not sit well with Gauahar and she took to Twitter to talk about the entire incident. Sharing the report, she wrote, “Oh my god! You guys are absolutely ridiculous and filthy, first of all, I was asked about how happy I am about them being married in an interview, and asked if I knew about them liking each other on I Can Do That, a show we did together, to which I said all contestants were crushing on Farhan, our star host.” She further added that ruining someone’s happiness is just wrong and we totally agree with her.
Well, TBH twisting someone’s words to get a few likes/comments is disgusting. It’s high time that people realise their words can cause serious harm to somebody else’s mental health. As for the actress, we’re glad she did not let this slip by and shared the entire story on Twitter. More power to you, Gauahar!
