Katrina Kaif has been MIA for a few months now with her appearances restricted to item songs in movies, magazine covers, and invitations to wedding receptions. But the actress is back in (fashion) action for the promotions of her upcoming movie, Zero, with Anushka Sharma and Shah Rukh Khan. It is only Day 1 of their promotional rounds and we are so impressed with Kat’s outfit.

Summer florals stylishly teamed with winter plaid, I think I am in love. Katrina did a wonderful pattern play in Prabal Gurung couture with a multi submerged floral silk-chiffon blouse and wool, plaid wrap skirt. While the blouse comes with a gathered knot detail, the skirt comes in a sexy tie-up style that brings the thigh-high slit look together.

The bright lemon colour of the blouse looks so well with the subtle cement-coloured skirt. We are definitely trying this colour combination this season!

But Kat’s look reminded us of a certain desi girl who wore a similar Prabal Gurung outfit in New York and wowed us with her high-street style. Of course, we are talking about the newlywed Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

PC wore the similar lemon coloured floral print in a jersey turtleneck bodysuit with a hand-draped twist skirt in the exact same pattern as Kat’s blouse.
She styled her look with a pink minaudière, green-toned clear heels with a satin finish, and cat-eye sunglasses. So, PC!
Now we know how to style our summer clothes in winter. But the real question is, who wore it better? While Katrina’s style was very winter, Priyanka’s was very Spring. While Kat kept it subtle, PC, on the other hand, went all out savage. What do you think?
